Melody Becomes The Black Mermaid

This is Melody from the little mermaid, with my idea of her being corrupted and turned into an evil, grown-up version of herself, known as 'The Black Mermaid'. Morgana captures Melody and corrupts her into being the malevolent green-skinned seductress and Morgana's sidekick

The corruption method was influenced by Chibi Moon from Sailor Moon was corrupted into The Black Lady. Using the formula of a 8-13 year old female cocooned, brainwashed and turned into an evil and sexy grown-up version of themselves

It was a beautiful, warm summer’s day at The palace of prince Eric by the sea.

 

The sky was blue, with a few wispy white clouds on the horizon, a gentle breeze and the sun glistening of the ocean surface. The ocean was calm, with small white-capped waves breaking along the shore-line, the sea birds crying softly as they flew overhead and the water filled with the joys of humans, merfolk and sea animals played happily in the water near the castle

 

Things were peaceful and happy in both Atlantica and in Eric’s Kingdom again after the death of the wicked sea witch Ursula and the defeat of her equally wicked sister Morgana, for now at least

 

Amongst all the joy and celebration, 12-year-old princess Melody was swimming in the ocean with all the human children and mer-children. Her parents, princess Ariel and Prince Eric, grandfather and king of the Mer-folk, King Triton, where all sat on a rock enjoying themselves as they watched the young princess have lots of fun in the water and knew that their little girl was growing up

 

The humans and merfolk were all going to be having a special dinner in the palace that evening

 

It seemed like all was happy in both Atlantica and the palace of Prince Eric, but something much more sinister was lurking beneath the surface

 

A fin popped out of the water, just back from where all the humans and merfolk were playing, revealing itself to be a shark, and not just any shark – Morgana’s evil sidekick, Undertow

 

Undertow laid low and looked at the merfolk from a distance, but had his attention focused on Melody more than anything. He watched Melody from a careful distance, with a sinister look in his eyes, before disappearing below the surface and swimming away

 

Undertow continued to swim through the depths of the ocean before ending up at a familiar lair. He arrived and told a familiar figure that he had Melody right where he wanted her

 

“Excellent” replied a sinister familiar figure who lept from her throne – It was Morgana. She had somehow been freed from her prison and thawed out, and now ready for revenge against the heroes and King Triton for bringing her down

 

Morgana said that she was impressed with Melody’s fighting skills, and that she (Morgana) could really use a great little companion to help her with her revenge

 

Undertow instantly snapped at Morgana, telling her that HE’S her best sidekick and threatened to bite Morgana, who in term showed no fear and ordered Undertow to cool his fins and explained that she just needed a way to get Melody to help her

 

Morgana spent a few moments brainstorming ways of how she could get Melody to help her, ruling out brute force or blackmailing her into doing it

 

Undertow sarcastically asked Morgana if hypnotizing her into doing her work for her would work, but he thought that Melody would just like a chicken and robotically saying “CLUCK…Yes i CLUCK….will CLUCK obey…CLUCK!”

 

Morgana initially laughed this off, but then, it sunk in and Morgana told Undertow that this was a good idea, and that she could warp Melody’s mind into working for her. But how to do it?

 

Morgana considered hypnosis spirals, pendants and all the clichéd hypnosis tools, but decided that they wouldn’t be good enough. She was beginning to get frustrated before she accidently bumped her book shelf, causing a familiar bottle filled with pink potion to fall out and land on the floor at Morgana’s…err….tentacles

 

It was Ursula’s magic, the special potion passed down from her sister, which Morgana used to turn Melody into a mermaid last time.

 

This intrigued Morgana as she picked the potion, examining it and talking about how it was capable of all different magical spells. Morgana thought about how she had to pour a drop of the potion onto Melody’s leg to turn her into a mermaid and remembered that it wasn’t a permanent spell

 

But then, Morgana remembered two things

    -       The magic would last longer, the more potion that is poured out

    -       She remembered once being told that if the potion is poured on to a person’s heart, it can corrupt them and turn them into evil monsters

 

Morgana smiled and excitedly said that this was perfect, and that she would use this special potion to corrupt Melody and turn her into Morgana’s evil henchwoman, and that using the whole potion to transform her, could be permanent, and even if it wasn’t, Melody would still be under her spell for long enough to help Morgana achieve her goal of ruling the sea and she would then change back to see all the death and destruction she caused.

 

Undertow was reluctant for a moment, and was concerned about the fact that Morgana won’t be able to use the potion again if she needed it, as it would be all gone

 

Morgana smiled slyly at Undertow and said that she will have all that she ever wanted once she, with the help of her future henchgirl Melody, gets rid of Triton and rules the sea. Morgana than gleefully ordered Undertow to capture Melody and bring her to the lair

 

 Meanwhile, back on the surface in the waters around Prince Eric’s palace, the sun was setting over the ocean, all the people and merfolk were walking inside the castle for dinner, or swimming back to Atlantica (King Triton had even temporarily changed some of the Merfolk into humans, so they could walk on land and go inside the castle for the dinner), except for Melody who was still swimming in the water, with her mother Ariel watching

 

Ariel watched her daughter swim and told her it was time to come inside for dinner as the sun was setting. Melody swam back to the shore, still feeling excited and a bit reluctant to come in from the sea, so she asked her mother if she could have one more quick swim to the sea floor and back as she was having so much fun

 

Ariel smiled at her daughter and said it was fine but told her to be quick as it was getting dark, but Ariel had to go inside to help with the dinner so Melody would be on her own for this last dive

 

Melody promised her mother she would only be a couple of minutes, so Ariel trusted her daughter as they parted ways, with Ariel walking back up the stairs into the palace and Melody jumping back into the ocean in the setting sun

 

Melody swum out a few metres before dipping under the water and doing a nose dive, but Melody didn’t know she was being watched by Undertow watching her from the distance prepare to strike

 

In the low light, Melody briefly swam along the bottom of the ocean amongst schools of fish, before making her way back to the surface and noticing that the sun had set and the twilight sky was red

 

Melody briefly looked at the red twilight sky, and the beautiful colours, before she turned around to head home for dinner before it got too dark

 

But as Melody was swimming back to the shore and the castle, a large fin was looming up behind her while she wasn’t looking. Melody only noticed the splashing sounds of the fin, so she turned around to see what was there, but there was nothing, so she kept on swimming towards the castle, assuming it was nothing

 

Then, to Melody’s horror, she was stopped dead in her tracked with a large shark rose out of the water and grinned evilly at Melody – It was Undertow

 

“Hello Melody. You’re coming with me” said Undertow in an evil voice before Melody turned to swim away before Undertow gave chase

 

Melody swam underwater, scared and trying to get away from Undertow he was chasing after her and wouldn’t give up

 

Undertow chased Melody through seaweed gardens and coral reefs, only just able to see with the low light, before Melody slipped through a small crack in a rock structure, making it through with ease, but Undertow got caught in between the rock structures because of his size and was immobilized

 

Melody looked back at Undertow for a moment, barely visible in the fading light, and then, Melody came to a dead stop when she hit her head on a coral rock, which knocked Melody out cold and she floated to the sea floor unconscious

 

Later, the unconscious Melody was waking up slowly, coughing and gagging trying to get her breath back, with her cross-eyed half-conscious vision of Morgana standing over her

 

Melody appeared slightly concussed as she said “Where am i?” slowly waking up and coughing, before he vision adjusted fully and then, to Melody’s horro, she realised she was looking up at Morgana, who nonchalantly greeted Melody with “Hello Melody, Didn’t think we’d be meeting again didn’t you

 

Melody instantly tried to get up, only to discover that she couldn’t move and was bound to a table made of ice, with seaweed tying her down

 

Melody struggled briefly before Undertow reared up over her with his mouth opened, threatening to eat her, before retreating to the water, it turned out that the table that Melody was strapped to was right on the edge of the water in Morgana’s icy lair. Undertow remained on the surface, right in front of Melody, looming over the young girl to make sure she didn’t get out of line

 

Melody was intimidated by Undertow looming over her and breathing angrily, as if he was ready to attack her. Morgana chuckled and told Melody not to get hostile and squirmy, as she’ll end up as shark bate

 

Melody instantly demanded Morgana to tell her how she escaped from her ice-prison. Morgana told Melody that it was easy, because frozen objects always thaw out in a warm enviroment, so Undertow found Morgana in her froze prison and took her up to the surface to thaw her out and warm her up under the hot sun

 

Undertow also told Melody, looming over her and yelling in her face, that he only did it after he got his head out of that hole and grew back all his teeth making him unable to speak properly for months

 

Morgana then explained to Melody that she was disappointed in King Triton after all he did to her by freezing her and sending her to the dark ocean floor, and that she’s out to make him pay

 

Melody snapped at Morgana telling her she will never work with her, demanding that she let her go instantly or else, and that her parents and King Triton are going to find out and make Morgana pay

 

Morgana looked disinterested at Melody’s rant and gave Undertow a signal, before Undertow dragged Melody off the table with his teeth. Melody struggled and screamed in the vice grip of the shark’s teeth as he dragged her off the table, snapping the ties, before he threw Melody up in the air and caught Melody in his mouth and started eating her. He chewed Melody up for a few moments, then swallowed her and grinned evilly

 

Then, Undertow spat Melody out, sending her flying and landing at Morgana’s feet (or should that be tentacles), her clothed were ripped and she had cuts all over her body. She was in so much pain that she was coughing blood, yelling in agony and could hardly move

 

Morgana smiled as she wrapped her tentacle around the injured and bloodied Melody so she couldn’t move and said “Hehe, oh Melody, you need to be taught a valuable lesson never to resist Morgana”

 

Melody was fighting her physical pain and looked up at Morgana would an angry look in her eyes.

 

Morgana then told Melody that she was impressed with her fighting skills and bravery, saying that a bold girl like her would be great in helping her, before Morgana dropped a bombshell and offered Melody to join her

 

Melody gasped and instantly yelled at Morgana, telling her that she was crazy, before Morgana wrapped her tentacle around Melody’s mouth, stopping her from speaking

 

Then, Morgana began to manipulate Melody’s feelings by telling her that her mother never did care about her, only wanting to be a control freak, and she got it from her father, who was also a control freak and wouldn’t let her be herself either. Hoping that she had convinced Melody, Morgana moved her tentacle away from Melody’s mouth, but Melody simply scowled at Morgana and coldly told her she’s full of lies and to let her go immediately or she’d be in seven seas of trouble

 

Morgana nonchalantly replied “Very well, if you want to be shark bait, have it your way” before she lifted Melody up with her tentacle and made her way over to Undertow so he could eat her again. Undertow said that Melody tasted good and this time she’s going to lose a limb, as he prepared for his second feed on Melody

 

Melody screamed and squirmed in the restraint of Morgana’s tentacle as she approached Undertow, who told Melody that she tasted good last time and this time she is going to lose a limb, as he opened his mouth and Morgana held the injured and scared Melody over the shark’s mouth, so that she could be devoured again

 

Melody was screaming as Undertow prepared to strike, but then he was cut off by Morgana telling him that he might be playing a bit rough and she had a better solution, before she walked back across the floor with Melody, still squirming in her tentacle

 

Morgana said that she had the perfect incentive for Melody to join her, without any torture or being rough, as she made her way over her book shelf and picked up a familiar bottle of pink potion with her late sister’s face on it – Ursula’s magic

 

Melody gasped and realised that this was the exact same formula Morgana used to transform her into a mermaid. She told Morgana that there was no way that just turning her into a mermaid would convince her to help her this time, and besides, she feels stronger as a human, because her parents fully understand her.

 

Morgana giggled and told Melody she had something extra special planned for her this time; she will use his to cast darkness over Melody’s heart, and turn her into an evil merwitch and her wicked sidekick, as she unscrewed the top

 

Melody was frightened as Morgana held her in her tentacle and got ready to pour the potion over her heart. Melody protested that she would NEVER help Morgana, and her parents will never let her get away with this.

 

Morgana smiled evilly and said that in a moment she will be thinking differently, and also, she is going to use the entire potion, so that Melody can never be freed from the spell, before she held the potion directly over Melody’s heart in her tentacle, ready to pour it out. She then tipped poured out the whole contents of the bottle, and as it flowed down towards Melody, the potion morphed into an evil symbol of Morgana, which floated down towards Melody’s heart

 

Melody screamed hopelessly and tears ran down her cheeks as the symbol hit her chest at the point of her heart.

 

Then, Melody’s screaming and struggling was drowned out as she began to brightly glow all different colours, from green to purple to yellow and so forth, then Melody released herself from Morgana’s tentacle as she levitated into the air above Morgana and by a green vortex of light

 

As the glowing Melody floated in mid-air, encased by the green vortex of light, her body began to change; her undeveloped 12-year-old body changed as her arms became more developed and muscular, her body also developed and became more grown-up and curvaceous, her head and hair developed and her hair untied and became long and wavy like her mother’s and her legs morphed into a fin with a fish-tail

 

Along with Melody’s transformation into a seemingly grown-up mermaid, a fish tail-shaped eye mask appeared right of Melody’s face, before it floated towards Melody’s face and attached itself over Melody’s eyes

 

Morgana let out an evil laugh as Melody floated back towards the ground and the her glow began to fade before she landed, standing on her fin like a naga, with her eyes closed

 

Melody was no longer her 12-year-old self, she was now an attractive grown-up version of herself, with a curvaceous body, pale green with black latex gloves, a  tight black latex dress hugging her curvy figure, and a green fin-shaped eye mask over her eyes, which couldn’t be removed

 

 “See, that didn’t feel so bad didn’t it?” said Morgana as the newly transformed Melody opened up her eyes (which now had red pupils) and with an evil smile, said “No Morgana, it felt great” in an evil/seductive voice

 

As Morgana announced her plans to bring down King Triton and rule the seas with Melody’s help, she let out an evil laugh, and Melody began to laugh evilly in unison with Morgana, indicating that her heart was black as night and she was now fully evil

 

And so, the once good-hearted tomboy princess Melody was transformed into an evil and sexy grown-up version of herself, who is now known as THE BLACK MERMAID, who was now Morgana’s friend and sidekick and would help Morgana in her evil schemes of bringing down King Triton and ruling all the oceans
