Pocahontas - From Hero To Villain

Description

A new villain in my fanon, an already-existing character, and a real wild card this time – Pocahontas has fallen to the dark side and is now a villainess and Governor Ratcliffe’s wife (And i am officially now a shipper of this taboo pairing! :evillaugh: )

Pocahontos made a willing change from hero to villain, it didn't happen through mind control, but through a ‘Stockholm syndrome’ relationship with Ratcliffe where she starts out hating Ratcliffe, but gets to know him and grows to love him, even to the point of beginning to see things Ratcliffe’s way and starts to walk with the greedy villain in his dark path

The story was one that :iconwaffle-with-big-arms: and i discussed

In an altered ending where John Smith is shot dead by Governor Ratcliffe, Pocahontas is devastated but is so desperate to stop the same thing from happening to her people, Pocahontas offers herself as a piece offering to Ratcliffe, so that he can take her as a trophy, but let her people live happily and peacefully.

Pocahontas’ father tries to stop her and doesn’t want her to get hurt by Ratcliffe. Ratcliffe admires Pocahontas’ beauty and agrees to take her and leave the natives be

Governor Ratcliffe takes Pocahontas back to England, where he forces Pocahontas to marry him and forces her to accompany and help him on his greed-driven schemes

At first, Pocahontas hates being with Ratcliffe due to his greedy nature and misogynistic control over her, but realising that leaving Ratcliffe would result in his killing her and the natives, Pocahontas sticks by Ratcliffe and decides to  make the best of a bad situation and tries to bond with her villainous husband

Over time, Pocahontas gets to know Ratcliffe, slowly growing to love him for his eccentric personality and hearing about his life. Pocahontas later realises that she’s never met a man with such a confident, outgoing personality and tells Ratcliffe that he might look ugly, but he is handsome in his own way, and she may never have found a man like this in her ancient civilization. Poki also starts to sympathize with Ratcliffe as she learns that Ratcliffe is the way he is because of him being considered a failure

And then, with a tender kiss from her husband, Pocahontas felt something change inside her, it was a feeling of darkness, glorious darkness taking over her heart, and any hate she had left for Ratcliffe crumble away, she now loved the man she once hated for trying to destroy her land and her people, now standing by him, and now happily helped her husband in his villainous schemes

Realizing that they’re love was genuine and that Pocahontas had completely submitted to Ratcliffe and now saw things his way, Ratcliffe loosened his controlling ways over Pocahontas and the couple renewed their wedding vowels as an act of love

The once good-hearted native-American Amazon had fallen from grace, and was now a villainess, happily married to Governer Ratcliffe, happily helping her new husband destroy things to get his way. His personality even rubbed off on her, and Pocahontas even become as ambitious and ruthless as her husband

The couple plan to have children together so they can procreate and not just have kids with native-american genes, but also to bring up the next generation of hunters to take their spot after they’ve done
